Important Notice Of Decisions From SKC Meeting 04/12/2009
EFFECTIVE AS OF JANUARY 2010

Hi all,

The following changes are to be noted for 2010. Could clubs ensure that this important information is passed on and published on club websites.

The annual Christmas get together is on again this year. It is being held at the track on 6 December starting at Midday!

The barbeque will be fired up but it will be fully bring your own food and drink!

No karts are to be run on the day and there will no doubt be the usual light hearted activities.

The LKC's own Callum Mitchell has been busy putting together a video highlights package of last weekend's Riverview Hotel and Kain's Cafe & Bar 4 Hour Endurance Race.

A race winning lead ended in heartbreak for Sam Crack and Jamie Brickenell when a broken engine mount forced them out of the Kain's Cafe and Bar 4 Hour Endurance Race with just fifteen minutes left to race.

At the time of retirement they had a sixteen second gap over eventual winners Aiden Shelton and Brad Segda. They eventually had a comfortable win over Matthew Coates and Nathan Zuj with Matthias Schrepfer and Jarrod Garwood taking a well deserved third place.

The combination of Zane Wyatt and Lee Mitchener, who eventually finished fourth had the fastest lap time of 35.046 seconds.

After a close battle, Josh Burdon won today's Kain's Cafe and Bar Junior Endurance Race by 9.4 seconds from a fast finishing Wade McLean. Dillon van Galen was third, a lap behind the winner.

Jack Pickett laid down the fastest lap at 48.739 seconds.

Well, the 2009 State Titles have been run and won. Well done to all the members who competed over the weekend and particular congratulations to Zane Wyatt for his win in the Leopard Lights.

The Launceston Kart Club's last open race meeting for 2009 is to be held on Saturday 21st November 2009 at the Club's Archerville Track.

TAS Tag 125 Rotax or leopard karts each with two drivers will battle it out over an epic four hours.

The 2010 calendar has been released by the State Council, and it looks like it's going to be a ripper year!

The Car Accessory Installs Sportsman Cup was held last Sunday at Archerville.
